Seriously Jackie?

I will confess to having a bit of a handbag "thing", I like nice bags. No way would I be putting a shed load of eyeshadows in a good bag, if the palette smashed, the bag would be ruined. I suppose it wouldn't be a problem for Jackie Gabbler, she's loaded and can just buy a new bag. I save up for a bag and am careful with them. I am not talking Louis Vuitton or Chanel here, way over priced IMO but I like Coach, Kate Spade, Osprey, Aspinal and Radley. I have a Mulberry Hellier bag that I have had for over 20 years that is still going strong, another brand that has had too many price hikes.
Absolutely! not only that, the palette would be ruined as well. In my advanced years, I tend not to carry make up in my bag any more. I try not to wear it as much as possible. I always wear it to work, if I'm meeting up with friends, or for an evening out that's not the local pub quiz. I apply the make up in the morning, or before I go out and that's it. I can't be doing with constantly checking in the mirror and touching myself up!!! The only beauty products I carry around are a lipbalm, a small roll on perfume and handcream.
I wish when I was on the spend, that I'd bought one or two "investment pieces" like that. I've never really been into handbags anyway, but when I did decide a couple of years back that I wanted a "forever bag" I literally couldn't find anything I liked that wasn't silly money. I ended up buying a leather bag in a vintage clothes shop. It was £25 and I really like it, but I've said before I wish it was just a tiny bit larger, but it will do. I will replace it, but only if I find the absolute perfect bag at the right price. The Ashwood/pure luxuries, and Woodland bags I've seen, the leather doesn't look very good quality, you can see uneven tones, textures and creasing. Although they're not stupid prices - I'd rather not. Somebody suggested that I buy one of those Moroccan leather bags, because they're inexpensive but to me they all look a bit "hippy" and that's not the look I'm after!

I think a ginormous palette is behind the times for ordinary folks.
A few years ago all the beauty YouTubers were wafting around Morphe palettes with umpteen neutral colours in them. Morphe have fallen out of fashion, and so have the really huge palettes.
Let's face it, if you have an eyeshadow quad, do you even use all 4 colours? So what need 30 or more? Even the 12 can you tell the difference colours here are at least 8 colours too many...imo

I must be the last person in the western world who still uses their landline as I usually have long chats every couple of weeks as a catch up. I only use my phone for texting info like being ready to get picked up. I rarely get a phone call so when I do I either don’t hear it or by the time I’ve swiped they have either rung off or I have scuppered the call.
My sister is the only one who uses our landline. We would cancel it but we would lose too many discounts we get from Virgin as we have TV,cable internet and two mobiles with them.

I rarely use my landline but still keep it because of broadband. If I do ring anyone it’s between 7pm and 7am and I have to put the phone down after 59 minutes and ring them back. If I don’t I start getting charged.

Consequently I now use my mobile for calls, as well as texts. All calls from the mobile are free and, if so desired, I could stay chatting 24/7 for the whole month and would get charged nothing. Needless to say, I don’t do that though. 😉 It suits me though ….. free calls to all landlines and mobiles, unlimited texts and more than enough data for my needs for £10 a month. 👍
Same here 3gb data with a 1gb rollover. Unlimited texts enough mobile minutes for £7 a month.

We still use our landline, to be honest I prefer talking on it than my mobile as I find it easier to hold especially during long calls. My Mum will call me on it as well, there is no way she would remember I had a mobile nor the number to ring me on it, and if I wrote it down for her it would just cause her more confusion.

I mostly use my mobile for Messenger and texts, but obviously being able to make a call when out and about.

I don't know about the complicated data stuff, but I just pay £7 pm for my Doro - and I feel that's too much for the amount of use it gets.
