The 30 day mbg guarantee they spout on air is really misleading, as it's actually depending on what you've already returned. When they go on about it on air, it's more to do with attracting new customers than the regular, as the regulars know, that it's a 30 day mbg within reason.

It's telling people they are closing their account for sending back over 50% of their purchases.

They must also consider not just the percentage of returns but the actual numbers too. If someone ordered 4 items in a year but returned 3 of them would they still send the letter ? Whereas if someone ordered 40 items in a year but returned 25 - 30 they probably would send it. Both people would be returning over 50% but I daresay only one of them would receive the letter.
