Molton Brown - gone from QVC!

its changed so much, we have gone from 200 employees and a small call centre and 1 phase wh, we now have just opened phase 5 and a new call centre wing, phase 5 being a new automated high bay warehouse and up to 1800 people, we are just goin into our busy period so have started recruiting, we normally employ about 400 - 500 for seasonal positions so up to 2200 people

That's a lot of people !! With all those warehouses, there most be thousands of different products. I don't know how they do it, despatching all those products. Are the call centres and warehouses based at the same place in Liverpool ?
 
the 5 phases are under 1 roof so its just one big warehouse and tagged on the side is the cc, to walk round the perimeter of the site it takes about 20 - 30 mins

due to the staff we have we are now recruiting home agents (people who take orders over the phone) so if you ever speak to an operator, they could be sat in their living rooms

That will keep you fit !!! You could get lost just walking around it !!!

That's really spooky - didn't realise that's what they did.
 
Some of the Molton Brown items were ok, liked Gingerlilly range. I probably wont
buy MB again,especially when its not on QVC.:(

I'd love a job like that - where I could be at home and work from there. I was just talking to someone else who does this working for Hilton Hotels taking reservations in their home.
Do the QVC homeworkers have to live near the call centre?:)
 
Hi guys I have an update about this...........

QVC do not have any plans to sell any new Molton Brown products at the moment but hope they will be offered again on QVC.

Nothing about them saying on QVC in prime time so viewers know what the hell is goin on.

You're right....the viewing public deserve to be told when a product has been dropped. There'll be people expecting to get the xmas TSV who have no idea.

You're right....the viewing public deserve to be told when a product has been dropped. There'll be people expecting to get the xmas TSV who have no idea.

But QVc never tell us they have stopped selling brands.
 
They did when it was the dermablend, when they started with the new range. I know as I use dermablend and was sad that they couldn't sell it.
 
How disappointing - I think MB are shooting themselves in the foot here,the revenue from the Xmas TSV alone must have been massive!! Maybe MB and QVC could come to some arrangement re a once a year Xmas TSV - I always liked Jill Goldsmith's phrase "affordable luxury".

I agree with everyone re QVC's approach to lines's being cancelled:confused: - they donot take the consumer into consideration - and they should!! Especially with really popular lines like MB or Models Prefer!! Its ridiculous the way QVC stick their heads in the sand(like ostriches) and just hope no one notices eh!! Come on QVC without your customers -us- your channel would not survive - as basic as that:mad:!!
