    'Richard Jackson' own branded stuff

So last year we had seemingly permanent 'last order this year in this size' of Gnome's Flower Power.. Over the Winter we had his 'exclusive' bird feed, which apparently has to be better than anything by RSPB or actual bird related, because 'he' developed it.. Earlier this year we have branded...

Set of 4 Hanging baskets TSV 04/03/14

Do the Flower Power TSVs come around often? Is the Sun slightly warm? They plug the heck out of the stuff all Summer. Now he's got branded bird food (last shipment of the year about to sell out already this early in the year, in 'this' size...allegedly..) Just seen he's now got branded compost...

    172 quid for a windchime!

Anyone who buys that stuff doesn't get the hint... It's called Kirk's FOLLY.. ;) It would be a Folly to buy any of that stuff. Just switch off when I see the intro, or find myself mid-show..

    Lock & Lock

As well as Dunelm, TK Max and the odd place like Boundary Mill and the like. I've also found a pretty good selection at Lakeland and The Range.

    For those...

Hmmm, and there were complaints about the number of hours given over to garden related stuff in the summer... seemingly forgetting just how much guff is given over to seemingly all fabulous, guaranteed to work, better than 'other' brands yada yada facial gunge in an average week

ellis's ideal world faux pas today on TJC

Sorry, I don't buy stuff because I like the presenter. I don't watch certain channels because of the presenter, however market trader/exaggerated/slimy they might be. If the product is ok, and you can see a need in your life to get it, then buy it. Stopping buying from one channel and buying...

Acer laptop TSV on Sat 27th October

If I'd bought my Dell as I set up 4 days ago, I'd get a free 4 GB XBox. Today, with Windows8 launching.. no upgrade price from Win7, and No Xbox offer. My current laptop is approaching 4 years old, been dropped a few times, so needs a new screen, overheats easily and battery of an hour or so...

    Daily Mail

Bitchiness from the Daily Jackboot? Next you'll be suggesting Richard Jackson likes Flower Power! Missed that article. I think there are SO many faults with the Faily Dail, from ripping blogs from sites and posting them as 'their' material, deleting image copyright info, the number of typos...

    The Baking Boutique TSV 5/10/12

Cupcakes are over? Can someone purLEASE tell food Network UK.. flipping Cupcake Wars (and UK specials) ad nauseum! Watching the TSV now. They seem not to mention the wattage of the motor.. more interested on how compact it is, and the funny angle things seem to be at.

    Sausage Man!

£35 quid for 10 lamb chops.. and they use the word... VALUE? They go on about how fab the food is when its cooked. Surely if you're a crap cook like me, it won't be the same. Plus also relies on recipe and what you do with it..

    Recipes/Blogs

Besides trawling through the cookery items one by one, why don't they just post these recipes, simple as they are, in one sodding place? With all the folks having blogs, why doesn't Simon. Couldn't be any less bland than some of the others on there..

    QVC's Cringiest Products!

    1. Any print from Thomas Kinkade 2. Anything from Butler & Wilson 3. Some of the garden ornaments they flog for the summer. 4. 'Wearable Art' dresses. OK I'm a bloke, but really can't see a reason for it, and yet to see anyone wear any outside QVC. I'm sure there are many others, but if I see...

What the heck is happening? Pies/candles dmix mixtape?

Right, so Real Pie Company.. Pies on website? £2.50 each, or some packs from £15.00.. Or buy using QVCs mega buying power, at bargain of a fiver each, in packs.. Caught the end of the hour.. seems its a highlights/megamix of Yankee Candles excerpts. Just had new white camp guy with the quiff...

Sprinklers? On the day the South East, and chunks of the East get restrictions?

<snip> It's gone past Easter, and South West Water haven't got a hosepipe ban? Really? ****** hell! Btw got an apology from QVC for them doing that, and a rather tasteless gag about Afros that Julian cracked that really only Julian could crack. Whether or not it's 'just the South East that...

Sprinklers? On the day the South East, and chunks of the East get restrictions?

Who books the items on these things? April 1st. Day that the QVC place gets hit by a hosepipe ban.. they try to flog SPRINKLERS? Don't they require hosepipes? Where's Francis Maude?

    Not more Richard Jackson...

I saw him plug his new column in Amateur Gardening, and bought the issue. I normally do anyway, so no extra spending, really. Every 2 weeks he's doing a column. This one was what he's planting up, and what didn't work last year. Naturally, he did suggest that his flower power would be great...

Simple Simon Overpriced Pies! 6 for £40!!

I turned over as they were doing the Fish Pie. 5 for 35 quid, plus 6 quid P&P, I think. Biagi was the host. I'll let you decide what overblown sound effects he was making chowing down on it. Good thing I didn't have my lunch in front of me. I'd have seen what I'd just eaten again, if I had...

    Not more Richard Jackson...

I was watching last night as the TSV was launched. 2 Wisteria that have sold out as I type. You'd have thought it was ****** Mick Jagger or Prince William gracing our screens the way that idiot was sticking his tongue up the proverbial. Heck, even the Second Coming would have got a less...

    Where are they ?

I heard from a former seller on Ideal World that QVC had a minimum volume per hour. If they sold (at that time) say 10K of stuff in that hour, the show stayed.. If it regularly failed in that, I guess the show got either dropped or done less often. Yep, that David guy was on yesterday (Sunday)...
