Why do the presenters preface every suggestion with "if you want to..." ??

Let's have a poll: WHO does things against their will with a QVC product (with the exception of the pelvic floor strengthener) just because a QVC presenter suggests it ?

I suppose if someone gave us a few products and said talk about them for an hour, it would be pretty hard. I think they're just filling in time when they use unnecessary phrases.
