Yes, anyone who has seen Alison Young use of the shimmerbrick should be put off for life. Low flying aircraft thinking they are landing strips.

I did buy it when first released way back and ended up giving it away, I used as eyeshadows. Way back I bought the Bobbi Brown makeup book, great advice and simple instructions. She really disliked shimmer, especially on women over a certain age, and contouring should be left to photoshoots or the runways. Then Estée Lauder bought the company and it was shimmer all the way.
