His communication skills appear deliberately woeful. His performances can often be surly and bad tempered too.

Overall he's a pretty disagreeable character, he makes me feel uncomfortable. I genuinely wonder if there is something quite dark about him.

Does anyone else think Dirty Peter is looking a bit haggard today?

Jeez, he is using his illness from last year yet again but this time to sell a ****** mattress topper. He says 'My soulmate and friend 'Our bet' provided me with quite a few of them not only because of perspiration and stains, not only of the problems one has when you're ill'.

This creep will use his illness to sell anything. He knocks me sick.
 
I'm sure I heard him threaten earlier to get 'our Bet' on the phone to talk about whatever it was he was flogging. That might have been amusing...

Hello all ! Must admit I haven't bought anything from Bid for years, and it's sad to see the decline of the channel these days. I mainly have it on as burbling background while I'm working at home. (I've also always loved live telly and love the potential for disaster)

I have to admit even cynical me felt a bit sorry for the old reprobate Peter at the weekend when he was trying to flog that godawful set of three candleholders. He kept looking over his shoulder at them trying to think of something to say, while simultaneously wondering how it had come to this. He came up with "Imagine filling up your garden path (long pause)with yellow light from these beautiful candle holders...:sad:

The sympathy vote is a massive part of his 'act'.

I don't feel remotely sorry for this old snake, poisonous. His performance with that appalling old sidekick Portelli was disgraceful yesterday, they shown pure contempt for the viewers. 'You'll lose your job for selling that wallet for £5' 'You'll lose you job for doing another non stop drop on a Pendule watch'. It reeked of desperation not to mention cynicism.

But I do hope Elisa enjoyed her holiday, she might get another sooner than she bargained for.

You're right it was vile. Also noticed right at the end in the last 10 seconds he said several times "£1.99, £1.99, £1.99" clock ran out graphics disappeared "plus your phone and p..."

This "70% off Flash Outlet" and vouchers apparently on offer as well for 3 products bought they are really scraping the barrel.
 
At the moment he is talking in this phoney French accent, as he has a load of French scent to shift! He sounds ridiculous. He sounds like 'allo allo' 'oh la la' etc. Then he goes 'Gertrude, good evening to you.' hilarious

I disagree with you, I don't think it's 'fair play to them' neither do I think 'that's what they have to do'
there are more professional and less revolting ways of selling a product, it was uncomfortable viewing verging on the obscene
and please don't patronise me, I'm not your 'dear', thank you
