Help Support ShoppingTelly:

You have a point there Janie, I find QVC actually quite useful to find out how electronic products work, even if you don't by them there. If you see the I Pad demoed I think this would help as actually for a piece of tech it's one of the easiest to use (I've played with one in store - tee hee).

you're right chops - one thing qvc is good at (if the presenter doesn't get in the way of the guest) is an informative demo.

I can't wait for this show. As if I need convincing lol . I will probably buy from Apple though. Free delivery from apple. Free engraving (if you want it engraved)
10 months 0% finance.(on orders over £429) :clapping: :clapping:

I see Lee Hohbein is the guest presenter and Dale Franklin is presenting the Apple hour. Have to say I am very disappointed because I find Lee a bit of a, how shall I say it, second-hand car salesman. I find his manner quite patronising and he focuses on the look of the product rather than its substance. Pity Apple couldn't have fronted a guest presenter from their own team

Is this because the ipad3 is coming out soon?

Apple prices rarely come down unless they are about to launch a new product and even then, it tends to limited quanties for a very short time. Its when they start saying limited stock and the press start reporting Apple shortages then get in fast (providing you don't mind current generation!).

You can get the ipod touch in argos for 149.99
Have been thinking about getting one for a while so will be good to see a demo but I expect they will spend more time on the more expensive products

yep i knew they were all the standard prices as the one in argos is on offer at the moment but will be going up on the 17/12/2011 but they might spend some time on this one as its one of the other staples but will just have to wait and see

He won't get a chance to say anything anyway. Dale will know it all like he does and take over.

Easy pays on the bliddy iPad and I'm in. Legitimate business expense?? Erm erm ... I think maybe so. Maybe not.

I'm really really tempted on Easypay. I'd like to know if the goods are coming direct from Apple and are returns being made to Apple as well. I wouldn't be happy at all if I got sent a return via QVC without an Apple engineer giving it the once over etc etc.

Sorry to divert a bit, but this thread seems to have lots of techies on it.

I've just bought a Kindle and am loading some free books to try it.

There are 100's of pages of these in the Amazon store, so I ploughed through pages 1 to 20 yesterday.

Today I tried to start from page 21, but it seems I have to plough through from the beginning again, clicking next, next, next x 20 which takes ages on my slow connection.

Does anyone know how I can get to page 21 (or even 1001 for that matter) quicker?

As someone said earlier on this thread - there is 0% finance over 10 months if you buy an ipad directly from Apple and free p&p :cheeky:
